AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM / HERMOSA BEACH
Overview
Living in a world that revolves around technology, at BeachSports we believe it is crucial to get kids outdoors!
This program promotes connecting children, sparks creativity, encourages mindful movements and helps kids build their confidence, all while utilizing our beautiful beach + parks!
Campers will begin their day at the beach with fun activities and movement! This will be followed by a brief walk up to the community center where they will end their day with arts, crafts and mindfulness!

With an always adapting schedule, the kids will have the option to participate in activities such as..

Our program will provide a variety of the crafts to entertain themselves with as well as take home.

Camp Director: Kate
Kate has 10 years of experience working with kids and has been with Beach Sports for the past 3 years.
Kate studied Family + Human Services along with Gender and Race Studies and Psychology at the University of Oregon.
Kate is passionate about physical and emotional health and wellness, and hopes to promote connection during this age of the “screenager” (too much screen time).

Sessions are 4 weeks long and you can select to enroll in just a single day (ex. Monday only) or multiple days (ex. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) each session. If you are unable to attend a day in your session, you can make it up on another day.
To register, select the day(s) under the session you’d like to enroll in and you will be transferred to the City of Hermosa Beach Parks and Rec Department to complete registration.
