Skate Camp Directions

Manhattan Beach:American Martyrs Church Parking lot (corner of Laurel & 15th St. Upper parking lot) (Directions)

Redondo Beach:Located at Dive N’ Surf surf shop (Directions)

Hermosa Beach:Located at St. Cross Episcopal Church parking lot. Corner of 18th Street and Monterey Blvd. (Directions)

Check in with our coaches in light blue “PCH Skate Staff” T-shirts

Check in:Starts 15 minutes prior to camp and ends 15 minutes after camp starts

Provided on the first day of camp. Additional available for purchase. $20

Pads & Skateboards
We have limited pads and skateboards so we encourage you to bring your own if you have them. They will be available on a first come, first served basis.

  • Skateboard (Scooters welcome)
  • Helmet
  • Knee Pads
  • Elbow Pads
  • Wristguards strongly encouraged
  • Closed toe shoes
  • Sunscreen (please arrive with sunscreen applied as well)

Manhattan Beach Directions

Drop off & Pick up:15 Street and Ocean Dr. (Directions)Drive up and drop off. Coaches in bright orange “BeachSports Staff” shirts will come to your car and check your campers in. If you would like to personally check in with coaches, please find street parking nearby.

Check in:Starts 15 minutes prior to camp and ends 15 minutes after camp starts. Running late, no problem, just walk your child to camp at the beach and check in with a coach. Camp is run at 14th Street, look for our “Body Glove BeachSports” tents.

3-Day Camps are T,W,Th

Provided on the first day of camp. Additional available for purchase. $20

Wetsuits:
Generally not needed due to local weather and water temperature, but bring your own if you’d like!

Surfboards:
Provided in camp. You can bring your own and check with the coach for use in camp.

Redondo Beach Directions

Drop off & Pick up:Beach Camp & Volleyball Camp:Ocean side of Avenue I and Esplanade at the top of the ramp (Directions)

JG Program & Surf Camp:Ocean side of Vista del Mar and Esplanade at the top of the ramp (Directions)

Drive up and drop off. Coaches in bright orange “BeachSports Staff” shirts will come to your car and check your campers in. If you would like to personally check in with coaches, please find street parking nearby.

Newport Beach Directions

Drop off & Pick up:15th St. and W. Bay Ave., on the Peninsula next to Veteran’s Park & The American Legion (Directions)

Wednesday, we will go to the bay side (Head Coach will remind you at camp). The meeting location for “Bay Day” is 19th street close to the bathroom. Turn towards the bay on 18th street then make a left on West Bay Ave you will see our tents most of the way down on the Right.

Check in:Starts 15 minutes prior to camp and ends 15 minutes after camp starts. Must check in with coach, bright orange “BeachSports Staff” shirt. Running late, no problem, just walk your child to camp at the beach (yellow tents 15th street tower) and check in with a coach.

Safety is our number one priority so all camps maintain strict safety guidelines and are staffed by CPR & First-Aid certified teachers, coaches and EMT’s.

  • $20 material fee (once per summer) payable to BeachSports or cash
  • Packed lunch, snack and water bottle
  • Swimsuit

  • Hat or Visor
  • Boogie board, if you have one. We have extra.

  • Sandals
  • Sunscreen (please arrive with sunscreen applied as well)

Corona del Mar Directions

Drop off & Pick up:Corona del Mar State Beach (Directions)

Drop off at Corona Del Mar State Beach at 9am. Drive down the ramp and let the guard tower know you are going to BeachSports (if present). They or BeachSports staff will give you a 15 min parking pass to drop off and pick up (you must present parking pass at all drop off and pick up times). Then make a left in the parking lot and drive all the way to the end of the lot towards tower 5. You will see our coaches in Bright orange shirts. Pick up is at the same location.
